2. Conduct:
All players are responsible for the appearance during a SFLAGT event. Proper professionalism is expected. Proper golf attire required.
3. Pace of Play
The SFLAGT will aim to achieve proper pace of play in all its events. We aim to complete our rounds in less than 4:20. The tour encourages ready golf.
A group is determined to be out of position when they have an open par 4 in front of them, or are more than 15 minutes behind the group in front of them. A group or player may be warned once, then they are subject to penalty at the discretion of the Tour Director.
4. Rules of Golf
The SFLAGT will follow the USGA Rules of Golf for all events. A player may contact the Rules official or Tournament Director in case of a Rules question or follow Rule 3-3.
In stroke play, if a competitor is doubtful of his rights or the correct procedure during the play of a hole, he may, without penalty, complete the hole with two balls.
After the doubtful situation has arisen and before taking further action, the competitor must announce to his marker or fellow-competitor that he intends to play two balls and which ball he wishes to count if the Rulespermit.
The competitor must report the facts of the situation to the Committeebefore returning his score card. If he fails to do so, he is disqualified.
Note: If the competitor takes further action before dealing with the doubt
5. Arrival at Event/First Tee
Upon arrival at the host Club, player must check in with SFLAGT. Player does not need to check in with Golf course. Players will be given hole location sheets and scorecards prior to teeing off, as well as any other pertinent event information.
Rangefinders
Rangefinders are allowed during competition.
Caddies
Caddies are allowed at SFLAGT events.
6. Scoring
SFLAGT events will aim to provide a leader board system, tracking player scores at a minimum of two locations. Players will report their scores after 9 holes of play, and again one more time before the completion of the round. Being that these are One day, 18 hole events we want players to know where they stand in the competition and the Tour Director will provide that information to players who are interested at the two check point locations.
7. Post Round
Players will report to the scoring area after their round to review their official scorecards, sign and return to the Tournament Committee.
8. Ties
Any ties (for First Place only) will be broken via Sudden death playoff, immediately after completion of play and all scorecards accounted for.
9. Prizes/Awards
Players will receive prizes and Trophies for 1st place. Visa Gift Cards or Pro Shop Credit will be distributed to 1st place, and depending on Field size Runner Up/3rdPlace
Handicap/Flight
Based on performance in the SFLAGT, the tour reserves the right to alter placement of a player to a different division, either up or down. Players may also petition to move into a different division, based on changes in their handicap, which will be reviewed on a case by case basis by the SFLAGT.
10. Liability
Be submitting an entry form and participating in a SFLAGT event, player
agrees to assume and solely accept all risk inherent, and waive all claims of injury against the SFLAGT, its staff, and the host facility.
